SERVICES

At Q76 Productions, we offer a small but useful variety of services for your music production needs. We can be available either on-location or remotely and use high quality professional equipment.

Session Work

As a guitarist with over 30 years experience both live and in the studio, I have been able to develop a list of styles to cover and an ear for what’s right for the song (both in terms of phrasing and tone). If you have an album or some tracks that require real sounding guitars or have a track that is missing something, reach out and I might just be able to fill the gap to easily achieve “that sound” you’re looking for.

Having played in a cover band for many years, this has also provided a good grounding for singing. My strengths are firmly in the background vocal area, so if you have a track where you looking for a different voice that also compliments the track, I can certainly fill that void.

Songwriting and Collaboration

Are you a non-musical person yet need a song for your Ad or on-hold music? We can help by composing the right tune to suit your business. We can also provide voice over services for radio and voice system IVR’s.

When entering the studio to record your songs, preparation is the key. If you feel something is missing in your latest creations, we can help. We also understand that songwriting is very much a personal thing, but sometimes a second ear can go a long way. By providing guidance on song structure, timing, lyrical and melodic hooks, rhythmic patterns, and instrument sounds are just a few of the ideas we can suggest.

Mixing and Engineering

Have you recently completed some tracks and demo’s at home but unsure on what to do next? At Q76 Productions, our small but nimble production suite can can take your basic tracks and mix them to sound more professional. Through our experience we will apply all the of the right techniques such as track gain staging, equalisation, compression, balancing and creative effects.

Getting a great sound is important. Having experience in both live and studio environments, we can be available to assist in engineering tasks your next recording project. By knowing which microphone to use and where it is to point or how to dial an amp etc can really make a difference.
